The Times created a list of 50 kids’ movies that can be enjoyed by adults as well as  children.  According to the article, the choices caused quite a speaking among The Times staff before the Harry Potter films were settled in the #23 spot:

23 Harry Potter (2001-present) JK Rowling’s books were famously eaten by both kids and adults, and the film continuing the trend, especially later installments, when the Children of Men director Alfonso Cuaron and State of Play ’s king Yates injected teen angst and semipolitical intrigue.

The Incredibles produced by Pixar was #1.
